I have been a band director in Virginia for the past 8 years and have had many opportunities to work with Brian KM. With each new encounter whether it be in person or virtually, his passion and drive for the musical excellence of all students is evident.

As a multi-faceted performer, I am able to connect with your players of all types. In addition to being a soloist and composer, I was the Principal Horn for the United States Pacific Fleet Band.

Students are thrilled to see the french horn being performed in a solo environment, and my work in live electronics activates musical imaginations throughout the program.

Frequently Asked Questions:

I have a few class periods and it's difficult for me to combine my groups- can brian km perform multiple times?
Yes. Brian KM offers mini-shows that can be as short as 30 minutes! He can then perform that show multiple times for your various classes in different configurations if needed to accommodate student levels, ages, or, numbers. The record is six! 
does brian km require a huge commitment for tech?
No! Although Brian's show is complex, he carries most of his equipment on tour with him. In most cases, all he needs is a music stand and a place to project. The show runs on 5 power outlets, and he brings his own power strip! 
I'm not one of those programs with a massive budget. should i just look elsewhere?
No! Brian KM is an independent musician, which means he can be flexible for a variety of situations. If you are running a program that has special financial considerations, please let him know so you can work together to provide a great opportunity for your students.
Can you do a q&a or a "my music career" talk with my students?
Absolutely. When I (Brian KM) was a student I HATED when a performer would show up, play the show, and leave immediately. I want to engage with your students!
