With each new encounter whether it be in person or virtually, his passion and drive for the musical excellence of all students is evident. By the end of the year they had expanded their range, improved their overall tone quality and, most importantly, they had the confidence to take on more challenges. I will definitely be reaching out Brian in the future!

Sean, Former Student
background
I have nearly a decade of teaching experience working with students of all ages. I have lectured at and conducted masterclasses at the University level. I am able to draw upon years of touring and performing experience to deliver insightful and useful information to the student.
My first college degree was in Music Therapy, where I was trained in advanced task analysis to work with older adults with severe profound intellectual disabilities. Although horn students are very different, my therapeutic training has stayed with me, and I utilize the listening, communication, and problem solving skills that served me so well when working as a therapeutic clinician. When I was on tour with the United States Navy's "Harbor Brass Quintet" while I was stationed with the U.S. Pacific Fleet Band, I worked with students all across the world in masterclasses and lessons. Meeting and working with new students is the spice of life, and fostering a long term relationship with horn students as they grow is the fizz in life's soda! Education:
