The Arrogance of Coconuts was inspired by this photograph. I really hate coconuts. I think they have taken rock's best characteristics (hard, often found on the ground) and added pure awful characteristics (grow on trees, attempt murder, floating).
Through reflection on coconuts, this photograph, and my hatred of them, the Arrogance of Coconuts was born. It was originally written for autolooper as part of my live show, "Brian KM Live", accompanying some extremely colorful program notes.
